Actions speak loud and clear at Chief Oil & Gas; they are committed to contributing to the communities where they operate on a daily basis.

Having lived in northeastern Pennsylvania for the majority of my life, one thing I’ve learned over the years is that community is important here. Neighbors are more than willing to help each other and even help total strangers in need. Whether it’s assisting on a farm or working together through the stages of a natural gas lease, the sense of community on all levels is strong in northeastern Pennsylvania.
Many natural gas companies have stepped up to the plate to return that investment to the communities and become a lasting part of it; to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Chief Oil & Gas is one of these companies; giving back to local communities where it operates.
“Our employees and contractors live in the communities where we work with their families,” said Daria Fish, Director, Public Affairs for Chief Oil & Gas. “We want to be more than just a creator of good jobs and economic development but also want to give our team members an opportunity to contribute in other ways as well.”
“Corporate social responsibility is a core value at Chief Oil & Gas,” the company’s website states. “We are proud to give back to the communities where we operate. Public safety, open and honest communication, ethical business practices and good neighbor initiatives are all an important part of how we do business each and every day.”
These are not empty words. Whether it’s supporting a local 4H program with an endowed scholarship, sponsoring local science fairs, or assisting with flood relief, Chief puts them into action on a constant basis.Read more
